It was approved that Zhejiang Province should carry out pilot work to accelerate the construction of steel-structured prefabricated houses and promote the transformation and upgrading of the construction industry.
On July 29, the reporter learned from the Construction Department of Zhejiang Province that the promotion of steel structure assembly houses will select Hangzhou, Ningbo and Shaoxing as pilot areas. It is planned to build a total of 800 steel-structured houses in the province by 2022. More than 10,000 square meters, including 500,000 square meters of rural steel structure assembly houses.
The Construction Department of Zhejiang Province stated that the promotion of steel-structured prefabricated houses needs to be step by step. This time, Hangzhou, Ningbo and Shaoxing were selected as pilot areas, including Lin'an District of Hangzhou City and Keqiao District of Shaoxing City as pilot areas for rural steel structure assembly houses, and exploring the construction of 1-2 demonstration villages of light steel structure. According to the requirements, a certain proportion of the projects in the pilot areas of affordable housing, relocation and resettlement housing, commercial housing, rural housing construction, dilapidated housing renovation, and future community residential projects in Zhejiang Province will be constructed using steel structures.
